The CAT A course is partially supported by Aviation on Demand (AOD). AOD is looking for other sponsors to provide bursaries for eligible participants.

Dates for CAT A Courses:
 

• Submissions of applications:  15 May 2023

• Registration deadline: 15 June 2023

• Publication of the first list of successful candidates:  18 July 2023.

• Publication of the second list of successful candidates:  18 September 2023.

• Prep Courses (English for Aircraft Maintenance, Maths, Physics):

  • 16 October 2023 – 03 November 2023

• Courses (CAT A):

  • 06 November 2023 – 15 December 2023

  • 08 January 2004 – 09 February 2024

  • 11 March 2024 - 14 June 2024

Duration: 24 weeks total (300 hours (theory), 360 hours (practice) and 1 year of intership in an approved maintenance facility (MRO145).

 

Price:

• 4,257,500 FCFA or 6 500 Euro (training cost only: 50% at the beginning of the CAT A course and 50% after 2 months).

• Registration fees: 200.000 FCFA (one time payment).

• Prices are charged for the entire CAT A course.

Tuition fees vary based on the category, including Air Forces, airline companies, and foreign candidates. Detailed fee information will be furnished upon request.
