WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Students, employees of airline companies, and technicians from the air force can attend training at AOD Aviation Academy.

 

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

​

  • At least 18 years of age;

  • Attain at least grades C+ in English, Mathematics and Physics on A-level, Electrical and Electronic Fundamentals;

  • Francophone Baccalaureate Series C, D, E, F and GCE Advanced Level;

  • Have an IELTS score of 5.0 or above, or certification from an approved English pathway program;

  • Student must be in possession of a valid National ID or International Passport.

International Admissions Requirements

 

International applicants (African countries) must meet all of the general admissions requirements. In addition, they must meet the following requirements:

 

Applicants whose primary language is not English must provide verification of English language proficiency by meeting one of the following requirements:

·       Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 55

·       Minimum IELTS score of 5.5

 

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to meet tuition and other financial obligations.

 

Applicants must obtain the proper visa.

 

Proof of successful completion of a secondary school program. Verification of International Diplomas and/or Certificates is accomplished using a corporate-approved credential translation and evaluation service.

 

Valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months past the course completion date.

 

Certification of financial ability to meet tuition and other necessary expenses or ability to qualify for financial aid as an eligible non-citizen.

 

Students abroad who wish to study at our academy in Yaounde are encouraged to contact us through the student request form on this page. Additional information and instructions will be provided for you upon request. We have knowledgeable admissions representatives who may be able to answer questions about study, student visa and travel in Cameroon.

SELECTION AND ADMISSION

 

The selection is made on study of an application file, the composition of which is as follows:

  • An unstamped cover letter addressed to the Academic Program Manager of AOD Academy;

  • A non-legalized photocopy of the birth certificate;

  • A detailed curriculum vitae and signed 4 x 4 color photo;

  • A non-legalized photocopy of the required diploma;

  • A photocopy of the National Identity Card for nationals

  • A photocopy of the residence card, consular card or passport (or their valid receipt);

  • A receipt for payment of twenty thousand (200,000) CFA francs (representing the costs of studying the application file) non-refundable in the following bank account:

In the event of admission after selection disseminated on the list, the composition of the registration file is as follows:

 

  • An extract from the criminal record (bulletin N°3) dating from less than six (06) months;

  • A medical-legal certificate;

  • Four (04) 4 x 4 color passport photos;

  • All legalized or certified documents presented in simple photocopies during the application selection process (diploma, birth certificate, identity card/passport);

  • A receipt for payment of registration fees and a receipt for payment of 50% of tuition fees.

  • This payment must be made to the BANK ACCOUNT indicated above.

  • Certified copies of transcripts and all corresponding diplomas obtained from the BEPC or any other diploma recognized as equivalent up to the diploma required for admission.
